I sent this to you a few weeks after we stopped talking all together. The os are the days I thought about you since I decided I was gonna take you to the cafe that i got this postcard is from. Xs are marked on days where I dreamed about you. It's almost been a year now. A month doesn't go by where you don't pop into my head unfortunately. I delude myself into thinking that every song I write isn't about you but I cannot stop myself from subconsciously inserting you into my words. It's so easy for me to rhyme when the words go together to form a description of how you were so irreplaceably in my life dude. I'll never forgive you. I miss you. Hoping for a day in the future where I can look at a photo of you and not feel my heart sink. My camera roll is wiped clean, and if I had kept this postcard longer there would've been more xs and os.
